Tutorial on Facebook Security, Secure Facebook Post / Photos

Since we have more readers from Facebook community, I always receive request to prepare tutorial on facebook security and teach how to make Facebook more secure, so people can not misuse our photos on facebook and unknown even don't see our personal photos.

It's not a matter of 4-5 points which can help to make your facebook account secure, hence I may take few days to complete full tutorial on Facebook security to keep your fb account secure.

Let's start with Basic point you need to keep in mind to keep your Facebook more private / secure.
In this tutorial We are not going to learn any additional settings, just basic keypoint you can remember to make your facebook profile more secure.

1) How to Secure Facebook Individual Post

Always check Facebook Status's security before posting any status or photo on your facebook wall.

  •  Status with "Friends" will make your status visible only among Friends, who are in your friendlist except "Restricted" friends.
  • If you want your status/Photo/Link open for all, you can make it "public" and through "custom" you can Hide your post from few selected friends.
  • By default, facebook gives "Friends of Friends" security, which means your posts will be visible to all your friends and all of their friends too.

2) How to Change Post Security If by mistake it posted with wrongsecurity

Sometimes we forget to follow instructions demonstrated in #1 and we wrongly post photo or status with "Friends of Friends" or "public" security.

It's quite easy to change this security at later stage

  • Click on Your Name on top left corner below "Facebook" Logo and notification area.

  • As shown in above image, click on security and change whatever it should be.
We will learn a lot regarding Facebook security in upcoming days and if all of u really wish this tutorial.
